Even though it is early in the afternoon, Mike McGee, academic vice presidential candidate, is busy doing last-minute campaigning on campus.

“We are going from place to place reminding people to vote,” the communication sophomore said.

McGee said he plans to go door-to-door later on in the afternoon to make sure people know how to cast their votes online.

Although McGee said he doesn’t know where he officially stands in the race, he said he thinks it is going well. He said he will remain optimistic throughout the day, even with his rising nerves.

“I’m going with the flow, but I’m nervous,” McGee said. “I’m only human.”
