On the morning of the Associated Student Government elections, Executive Vice President candidate Vikram Karandikar passed out quarter sheets under the arch and encouraged students to submit their votes online.

“You definitely have to get the word out,” the McCormick sophomore said. “It’s a quick reminder to vote and a nice way to reach out to students without flooding their inboxes.”

Karandikar said he feels optimistic and excited about the election. Last night, he and his campaign managers taped fliers to sidewalks on campus and posted some inside dorms and dining halls. He also spoke at munchies at 1835 Hinman and the Public Affairs, Shepard and Slivka Residential Colleges earlier in the campaign.

“Even though I’m uncontested, I really want to put in all my effort,” he said.

Karandikar said he hopes to distribute quarter-sheet reminders to vote later this afternoon in front of Tech or the arch.
